Motherhood brings a whole new set of demands on your body — from feeding and carrying your baby to interrupted sleep and adjusting to movement after pregnancy.

Moving into Motherhood is a gentle, movement-focused workshop designed to support moms as they reconnect with their bodies and gradually return to comfortable, confident movement after pregnancy.

Dr. Alexis will guide you through practical mobility exercises, gentle strengthening and movement strategies that focus on the areas commonly affected during pregnancy and early motherhood.

In this session, you’ll learn:
Gentle mobility and strengthening exercises for the hips, core, back and upper body
Strategies for easing common tension from feeding, carrying and caring for baby
Tips for everyday movements like lifting, bending and getting up from the floor
Ways to gradually and safely return to movement and exercise
Techniques to support posture, mobility and overall comfort
Simple exercises you can realistically incorporate into life with a new baby

Whether you’re newly postpartum or further along in your recovery, Moving into Motherhood will give you practical tools to help you feel stronger, more comfortable and more confident as you move through this new chapter.
